Every day the superheroes of this country fight the forces of evil and work to ensure public safety. Supervillains are defeated, incarcerated, inevitably escape, and the cycle continues.
Here at the Supervillain Rehab Center (SRC), our mission is to break this cycle.
The SRC, located in Sunnyvale City, has a maximum occupation of 45 residents and houses superpowered offenders with danger levels ranging from Mild to Cataclysmic. The task of the SRC is to carry out sentences with attempts to prevent recidivism by enabling offenders to initiate change in their villainous behavior.
The SRC sits on approximately 8 acres of land that was once a pile of garbage floating on the ocean. “Garbage Island”, as it was called, was completely refurbished when the SRC was built in 202█. The island is surrounded by an anti-magic forcefield generated by one of the ancient Crystals of My’mstor, as per international guidelines.
The SRC offers its residents a variety of programs to meet their rehabilitative needs. Residents have access to a wide variety of educational and vocational programming, including power retraining classes. The SRC also addresses the behavioral health needs of residents by offering psychotherapy, mental health support, group therapy, and art therapy.
As of 04/01/2█, the SRC has experienced no escapes.
